This position encompasses responsibilities as both a Respite Worker and a Community Support Worker. The role includes providing community support by driving the child to various activities, such as visits to parks, recreation centers, and other community spaces.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15-30 hours/ week
Schedule:
- Monday and Friday / Day/Evening position as needed on weekends
- Time: 3-6pm
- Weekends as needed and on PD Days
- Driving Mandatory

- Pay: $18.00-$23.00/per hour
Education: (Anyone of the below Mandatory/ ONLY FROM REPUTABLE COLLEGE ACCEPTED)- Certification is Mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Social Service worker Certificate
- Personal Support worker
- Childhood educator certification
Experience:
- supportive care: 1-2 years (Mandatory)
- Experience in working with Spectrum disorders
- Experience in Supporting children’s with Autism
- Communication and interaction skill
- Experience and Mental health worker
Language:
- English (required)
Licensee/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (required)
- NVCI/MANDT (Preferred)
- Police Clearance Check Mandatory (Less than 6 months old, we accept only Edmonton Police check results/ RCMP)
- Child intervention check mandatory
- Reliable vehicle preferred and Drivers Abstract Required
Licence/Vehicle
- Class 5 Licence – Required
- Drivers Abstract for last 2 years required to submit
- Vehicle should be in the employee’s name / the employee need to submit lease document
- 2 million liability insurance copy needs to be produced
Work Location:
- In person at Edmonton, Beaumont and Leduc area
